This Series?

Love Joy and Silliness is a globe-trotting, adult animated series based on the published novel by Jamal Mecklai. It follows Shri Vindaloo — a sophisticated, charming, deeply romantic figure rooted in the warm light of Goa, India – as he travels the world delighting in love, joy and silliness

This is not a children's animation. It is a literary series for adults — warm, witty, and deeply human — set across eight beautifully distinct episodes and six countries. Think a cinematic Goan Falstaff, rendered with the elegance and sophistication the global animation market has been waiting for from India.

Each episode is self-contained but part of a coherent, deepening character arc. The book is already written. The world already exists. Five proof-of-concept episodes have been produced and narrated by the author himself. This is not a pitch — it is a living proof.
